    That the applications to the Cultural & Arts Advisory Committee from Betty Lee-Daigle, Manmander Matharu and Jelena Ristic, be accepted;

    And that the terms of these Committee Appointments be for the remaining term of Council, ending November 14, 2020, or until such time as new members are appointed.

    That Administration review the requirements the Committee/Local Board Application and Appointment Policy, including a provision that Police Clearances being a requirement for members of the Youth Advisory Committee and Senior Advisory Committee.

CS-2019-41 Award Nominations

The Members discuss the Award requirements and the lack of nominations received despite the deadline extension. Concern over the application process is raised. It is suggested that the nomination process be refined and streamlined, and that a rubrics ranking for applications be developed in order to assist in fairly evaluating nomination for each award. 

The Youth Advisory Committee is currently developing criteria for a Youth of the Year Award.
