2022 Tecumseh Business Plan and Budget - Operating Lifecycle and Reserves, as submitted to Town Council
 

The Director Financial Services & Chief Financial Officer and Chief Administrative Officer provide some introductory remarks on the budget process, common budget metrics and their relationship to taxes.  They also explain the Organizational Review impact to the budget.

The Department Directors present their respective budgets speaking to highlights and addressing any questions or comments from Members of Council.

    That funding be provided in the 2022 Animal Control Budget (2620) in the amount of $10,000 under Contract Services (5-2000) for a Pilot Rodent Abatement Program to be funded from the One Time Reserve.

    That Administration be directed to draft a by-law to approve the 2022 Business Plan and Budget based on a municipal levy increase of 2.95% and a consolidated tax increase of 2.7 %.

    That the 2022 Budget Reconciliation for the Public Sector Accounting Board (PSAB) Adjustments as reported in the document on page 30 of the 2022 Business Plan and Budget  at the November 16, 2021 Special Council Meeting, be accepted in accordance with the Municipal Act, 2001 Regulation 284/09, as amended.
