    That Report No. CAO-2021-13, Policy 110: Town of Tecumseh Mandatory Vaccination Policy be received.

    And that Council approve Policy 110: Town of Tecumseh Mandatory Vaccination Policy, with immediate effect.

    That Beach Grove Golf and Country Club, located at 14134 Riverside Drive, be granted an exemption from the Town’s Noise By-law No. 2002-07, as amended, on Friday, September 10, 2021, to permit music entertainment until 11:30 pm;

    And that this exemption from the Town’s Noise By-law is be conditional on the event being held in accordance with all of the Ontario Roadmap to Reopening regulations.

    And that the area residents be informed by Beach Grove Golf and Country Club of this exemption from the Noise By-law, and Administration communicate the exemption to the OPP;

    And further that concerns and/or complaints respecting the emission of sound, resulting from the entertainment, are to be monitored;

    And furthermore over that consideration be given to authorizing the Director Corporate Services & Clerk to grant exemptions to the Noise By-law until no later than 11:30 pm.

    That Administration be authorized to submit an application to the federal government for funding under the Investing in Canada Infrastructure Program (ICIP): Green Stream Stage II, 2021 Intake for a future commitment to the Watermain Replacement Project on the full length of Centennial Drive, a section of Woodridge Drive (from Dillon Drive to St. Thomas Street) and interconnections with Little River Boulevard and St. Thomas Street;

    And that Administration be authorized to complete any business case(s), application(s) and/or to provide all information/documentation as required in order to constitute an application under ICIP: Green Stream Stage II, 2021 Intake;

    And further that the Chief Financial Officer be authorized to sign any required documents necessary to complete the application and the subsequent documentation to ICIP: Green Stream Stage II, 2021 Intake;

    And furthermore that the Mayor and Clerk be authorized to sign any documents/agreements (if required) for the application submissions and documentation to ICIP: Green Stream Stage II, 2021 Intake, in a form satisfactory to the Town’s Solicitor, financial content satisfactory to the Town’s Chief Financial Officer and technical content to the Town’s Engineer.

    A meeting or part of a meeting, may be closed to the public in accordance with Section 239 (2)(b)(c)(d)(h) and (i) of the Municipal Act, 2001.  An In-Camera meeting may be held if the subject matter being considered is:

    • personal matters about an identifiable individual, including municipal or local board employees; and
    • labour relations or employee negotiation
    • a proposed or pending acquisition or disposition of land by the municipality;
    • information explicitly supplied in confidence to the municipality or local board by Canada, a province or territory or a Crown agency of any of them;
    • a trade secret or scientific, technical, commercial, financial or labour relations information, supplied in confidence to the municipality or local board, which, if disclosed, could reasonably be expected to prejudice significantly the competitive position or interfere significantly with the contractual or other negotiations of a person, group of persons, or organization.

The Mayor reconvenes the meeting in open session at 5:45 pm.

The Mayor reports that Council convened in closed session shortly after calling this meeting to order at 4:00 pm in accordance with Section 239 (2)(b) (c) (d) (h) and (i) of the Municipal Act, 2001, which permits a meeting or a portion of a meeting to be closed to the public if the subject matter being considered is:

  • personal matters about an identifiable individual, including municipal or local board employees; and
  • labour relations or employee negotiation
  • a proposed or pending acquisition or disposition of land by the municipality;
  • information explicitly supplied in confidence to the municipality or local board by Canada, a province or territory or a Crown agency of any of them;
