In response to an inquiry regarding publicly sharing the data collected from the speed trailers, the Manager Public Works & Transportation explains that the data collected is presented in an annual report to Council at the beginning of the year. The Police Services Board Chair advises that the OPP Monthly reports are published in the Police Services Board Agendas on the Town's website.
A Member comments on the 30 percent decrease in calls for service within the Town. OPP Inspector Glenn Miller explains the decrease in call for services is a result of 9-1-1 misdial calls being mitigated to the OPP Communication Centre instead of the Town.
